Bao Xishun becomes world’s tallest man.
He was born in 1951 in Wenniete league, Inner Mongolian Autonomous region, said Wu Xiaohong, an official with the Guinness submitting office of Liaoning Publishing Group, China. There are five brothers and sisters in his family. And all of them are normal in height. His height was normal for his age until he was 15. In the age of 15, he experienced a growth spurt to reach 1.89 meters tall. By the age of 20, his height reached about 2.1 meters.
Now, he is 165 kilograms in weight with double legs stretching 1.5 meters long. His palm is as large as a palm-leaf fan with feet measuring 38 centimeters. The Second Hospital affiliated to the China Medical University examined him in an overall way, finding all were normal for his cardio-pulmonary function and pituitary secretion. Experts believe that his height is of natural growth.
